“Ajamu Ayinde is a Medical Hypnotherapist with whom I have had a long relationship. He
connected with the Oncology Support Program (OSP) as a vendor at our Day of Healing event in 2001. When one of the speakers had to leave suddenly, Ajamu stepped in & gave a terrific
presentation on the role of guided imagery in cancer support. He participated in our first annual Breast Cancer Conference held at Kingston HS in 2001. His talk, Permission to Heal, was very well received. He wrote for the Celebrate Life! newsletter for several years until he moved from the area. In
2003 he moved to Atlanta to work with Susan Kolb, MD, a holistic plastic surgeon at
Millennium Healthcare/Avatar Cancer Center as their staff hypnotherapist. His duties included providing hypnotherapy to patients before & after surgery, as well as leading weekly guided imagery sessions for patients in the practice. Ajamu will be providing group guided imagery for survivors every Friday at the Herbert &
Sofia Reuner Cancer Support House starting in the Fall. We are very glad to have him back with us as a resource for the patients we serve.” -
